A prequel to one of my favorite science-fiction series? Hell yea!

The Expanse: A Telltale Series

A five episode adventure featuring XO Camina Drummer, played by the returning Cara Gee, this serves as a nice prequel to the television series.

Gameplay is probably the best made by telltale, with pretty good simulation for zero-g environments.

Main story is pretty good, following a side adventure related but not explicitly apparent to the extra-solar items.

The mystery is entertaining to explore, and has lot of lore callbacks to the books and television series.

The salvage ship is a nice base of operations. Side characters are moderately fleshed out too.

There's even a short bonus adventure with the iconic Chrisjen Avasarala!

In classic telltale storytelling, there are a few choices to be made, with minimal to some impact on the main story. And in classic telltale player base's play-style, people make the "nicer" choice most of the time. The "bad" outcome is also skewed by the some of the same people doing a "evil playthrough" to see what happens.

Overall, well, if you're a fan of the series/books, it's a no brainer! Standalone too, it offers a nice sci-fi adventure story.
