Horizon VR: Call of the Mountain

A launch title for the Playstation VR 2, Call of the Mountain is a short but sweet experience that takes you back to the world of Horizon, this time in VR! It plays well, and looks amazing. A must try for anyone with the VR headset.

Spider-Man 2

Insomniac are back with another swing at the Spooder-verse story, and boy what a venomous one it is. It looks amazing, runs well, and you get to be Spider-Man again! Well, get hunting!

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Can't believe I took this long to get into the world of ace combat! While not realistic at all, it is very difficult not to have fun with this one.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

A worthy follow-up to the first one, Jedi Survivor continues the story of Cal Kestis, and is a must play for star wars fans.

Carto

A very adorable and wholesome top-down puzzle adventure title with a unique gameplay mechanic. Must recommend.

Humanity

A big surprise from the creators of LittleBigPlanet, a game where you control a crowd of people and solve puzzles. A unique and fun experience.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed

The alien parody continues, this time in Britain, Japan, Russia,... and the MOON! More fun, more ridiculous, more satire.

A parody of the 1950s alien invasion films, Destroy All Humans! is a fun action game with a lot of humor and satire. Don't know if this is good or not, but it is a lot of fun.

Toem

Adorable indie photography adventure game with a unique gameplay mechanic. Must recommend.

Hogwarts Legacy

A fully explore-able rendition of Hogwarts itself, tied together with a mediocre story and writing. The game is fun to to play however would not call it re-playable. Still fun though!

God of War Ragnarök

Get up boi! Take time off work, we gotta prevent ragnarök, and totally not inadvertently cause it. One of the best pieces of media ever made.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

Step up in every way from it's predecessor, Requiem plays with your hardware as much as it plays with your emotions. A truly next-gen experience with massively detailed environments and visuals, brilliant art direction and voice acting. Highly recommended.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Dive into this once-in-a-generation action-adventure experience that you must play once in your life. Full of incredibly detailed set-pieces, action sequences and dialog, guaranteed to give the player a solid 15-20 hours of fun.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Jump into another uncharted adventure, this time set in Karnataka, India (woo represent!), in the shoes of Chloe Frazer to recover the tusk of Ganesha.

Hue

Colorful adventure puzzler-platformer where we change the environment by changing the color. A nice little surprise from Fiddlesticks.

Stray

Play as a cat! Dedicated meow button! What more do you want? Oh wait there's a pretty good story and setting as well! And the gameplay is great! Did I mention you play as a cat? LET'S MEOW!

Mass Effect 3

The culmination of the original Mass Effect trilogy. Lots of choices as usual, and they determine the fate of the galaxy. Despite the ending(s) being controversial, it is a very good game.

Mass Effect 2

The *Empire Strikes Back* of the Mass Effect trilogy. The story is darker, the characters are more mature, and the stakes are higher. The combat is much improved, and the dialog is still top notch.

Mass Effect

Mass effect trilogy is one of the greatest RPGs ever made. The dialog options, the choices, and the story is all top notch. The combat is a bit dated, but everything else just makes up for it.

Horizon: Forbidden West

The Empire Strikes Back of the Horizon Trilogy perhaps — A worthy sequel to the 2017 title, which improves upon the original in every possible way. A must recommend!

Guardians of the Galaxy

This single player adventure title features one of the best versions of the guardians in a compelling storyline with jaw dropping environments, visuals and 80s soundtrack. Even though it falls short in combat, I'll recommend this for the dialog and quips alone.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Although it looks like a generic Nordic title at a first glance, this piece of art created by a team of just 20 developers is pure thrill inducing, dark adventure exploring mental illness in a hellish landscape. A must recommend!

Wreckfest

Ever wanted to have a deathmatch with 24 other players in a field, while driving lawnmowers? What about racing a bunch of sofa cars dressed as the Stig! Even Jeremy Clarkson didn't think of that! Wreckfest, the ultimate next gen demolition racing.

Days Gone

Set in a post-apocalypse, zombie infested Oregon, the open world of Days Gone is tough, takes some time getting used to; but it immerses you once you do. A great title to spend two weekends in, especially during the circumstances. Recommended.

Ghost of Tsushima

A better Assassins Creed title than any other modern Assassins Creed title. Ghost of Tsushima does open world games justice. A must play!

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

The best single player story driven star wars game since the force unleashed (the first one of course)

ABZU

Dive in (quite literally) into this underwater adventure. Enjoy a beautiful seascape, interact with oceanic life, and immerse yourself in this serene world with an equally tranquil music.

Maquette

A puzzle game exploring the inevitability of change with a unique recursion concept, set in a beautiful environment. Recommended if you like puzzle games, looking for something short and cool to play, and are bored with the usual formula.

Hitman: World of Assassination

Probably the game, I've spent the most hours in between 2019 and 2021! A beautiful open-map assassination game with a variety of levels and approaches.

Cyberpunk 2077

Welp! There goes, not going to pre-order any game again, ever. Really cannot say more about this unfinished product of corporate greed that hasn't already been said. But still, there are some good bits to it.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Take over as Miles (Kilometer) Morales in this holiday themed entry, which also serves as a launch title for the Playstation 5! Another banger of an Insomniac title.

A Plague Tale: Innocence

This amazing game from a relatively smaller team rivals several big budget AAA games in terms of storytelling, visual design, gameplay and voice acting. A one of a kind adventure set in Europe during the Bubonic Plague, it has a lot of heart. Especially relevant during this modern-era plague. Recommended.

Forza Horizon 4

A beautiful open world racing game with a great soundtrack and a variety of fun events.

Assassins Creed: Odyssey

Dive into Ancient Greece in this installment of Assassins Creed. Explore the islands on foot and horseback, sail across the Aegan sea on a ship. Even with a weak RPG and combat system and repetitive gameplay, it is fun to explore.

The Last of Us: Part II

Following up the events from the first one, The Last of Us Part II expands on everything from story to gameplay, characters and visuals in a swansong title for the Playstation 4.

The Talos Principle

What looked a quick puzzle game at a glance became one of the deepest philosophical and existential-contemplation journeys throughout this experience. All paired with excellent puzzles, environments and soundtrack. Highly Recommended.

God of War

Get up boi! We have gods to kill. Dive into the adventure with a Father and Son set in the lands of Norse mythology.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3 is a great open world RPG with a great story and a lot of content. With a top tier soundtrack and a vast world to explore, it is a must play for any RPG fan.

Red Dead Redemption II

A prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption, this game is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. The story, the characters, the world, the music, everything is just perfect. It's a must play for anyone who loves games.

The Last of Us

Simply put, a masterpiece. Something everyone should play (at least once).

Until Dawn

This was scary and fun to play alone the first time. Even better to play with friends the second time to watch their reactions. Horror B-movies as a create-your-own-adventure video game is turning out to be better than a well written 90-minute horror flick.

Spider-Man

You get to be Spider-Man! Need I say more? Take control of the web-slinger in an excellent rendition of Marvel's NYC against a backdrop of one of the best spidey stories paired with equally excellent actor performance and gameplay.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

An interesting open world title, which is a bit hard to get into in the beginning, but is a brilliantly crafted hard science-fiction story with an equally compelling gameplay. Battling robot dinos with a bow and arrow? What could go right!
