An interesting open world title, which is a bit hard to get into in the beginning, but is a brilliantly crafted hard science-fiction story with an equally compelling gameplay. Battling robot dinos with a bow and arrow? What could go right!
What' good
- Great story
- Art and Visuals
- Smooth Gameplay
What' not so
- Okayish facial animations
- Bunch of repetitiveness

Horizon: Zero Dawn
The particle system is very good. It is able to render hundreds of particles on the screen.
HDR rendering is one of the best I've seen on PS4. First experienced on an IPS panel, the night scenes looked nice. However I was blown away by how good the visuals were on an OLED panel.
Dayum.
Huh, that does not look good at all.
Ready to face the flying demons!
Aloy is not amused.
Day 43, they still have not noticed I do not belong here.
Wheeeee.
Ah I can finally rest. Had to re-do the entire game cause I forgot to manually save before starting an NG+. Twas a great experience again on a PS5 after playing Forbidden West. Made me appreciate the story even more, as well as Ashly Burch's performance as Aloy.
The music is excellent too, a selection of very pleasing ambient tracks make the world experience even better.
A must recommend title then, especially now that it is available for PC (and an updated 60hz on PS5). Do play this before jumping into the forbidden west.
