Following up the events from the first one, The Last of Us Part II expands on everything from story to gameplay, characters and visuals in a swansong title for the Playstation 4.
What' good
- Story
- Characters
- Gameplay
- Visuals
What' not so
- Divided fan-base
So... that was that.
Having played the first one recently, and playing the sequel in the middle of a global pandemic, well, safe to say that this will stay in my head for quite some time.
The Last of Us: Part II
Definition of "every frame a story".
Oh, yeah, this game has zombies!
But... it's not about those zombies of course.
Love the photo mode additions.
Cut-scenes now play like episodes. ND is absolutely perfect in rendering these.
Silencer made of post-apocalypticoke!
Have we time traveled?
Well, not everyone is going to like this story.
But, this is the story we're getting.
There's something beautiful about nature taking over cities.
Doggo! Now I feel bad about the first segment! I guess that's the point.
Right, zombies! And terrifying ones at that!
At least this segment was not in VR!
NOPE!
Can't believe there was a massive whole new set-piece location for just one scene!
I was at the edge of my seat throughout the story.
A great sequel. Can't wait to see what they'll come up for Part III!
